We collect information needed to run FlipScan and improve your experience:

• Photos and uploads. Images you capture or upload so we can identify items and prepare listings.
• Account and contact details. Such as your email address when you sign up or communicate with us.
• Usage data. Technical and product usage information — for example device or browser type, approximate region derived from IP where applicable, pages or features used, performance diagnostics, and timestamps — to operate, secure, and improve the service.

We use the information above to:

• Identify items with AI. Process photos and related signals to suggest titles, descriptions, categories, and attributes.
• Surface pricing insights. Combine identification with market data so you can see pricing tiers and comparable sold listings.
• Create and publish eBay listings. When you connect eBay, draft and submit listings on your behalf according to your choices.
• Run and secure FlipScan. Authentication, billing where applicable, fraud prevention, support, analytics, and legal compliance.

We rely on vendors and partners who process data on our behalf or receive data when you use integrated features. These may include:

• OpenAI — AI-assisted identification and text generation from your images and prompts.
• Apify — retrieval and processing of public marketplace data used for comps and pricing context.
• eBay — OAuth, listing creation, and marketplace operations when you connect your seller account.
• Stripe — subscription and payment processing for paid plans.
• Supabase — authentication, database, and related backend infrastructure.
• Google — for example fonts or analytics depending on how you access the site; their privacy terms apply to those products.

Each provider has its own privacy policy. We choose processors with appropriate safeguards and use their services only as needed to deliver FlipScan.

FlipScan does not sell your personal information to third parties. We share data only as described in this policy — for example with service providers under contract, when you authorize integrations like eBay, or when required by law.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data we hold about you; to opt out of certain processing; or to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. You can manage some information in the app or by contacting us below.

If you disconnect integrations or delete your account where offered, we will delete or anonymize associated personal data except where retention is required for legitimate business or legal reasons.
